Once the loan and everything went through, then came the closing. This took about a week after the figures were concrete. The closing attorney had to come from some other state which is why it took some time to complete everything.

This part of the loan process is what you REALLY need to be prepared for and pay attention to. I did not know anything about loans and did not know anything about all of this paperwork they shove in your face and make you sign either.

This part of the loan process really depressed me. I felt like I was being taken advantage of BIG-TIME. its like 15-20 papers that I had to sign and the attorney explaining the paperwork at the loan that I was signing talked faster than a man at an auction! he was blowing right through it all at neckbreaking speeds and with a room full of people I did not know, I did not even know what to ask or how to ask it.

Once it was all done everyone shook hands and that was that. I now had to wait for the home to be placed on my land.
