One thing you need to know is that if the electricity goes out, you will have NO WATER.. I mean the second electricity gets cut off you will have no water.

This became a HUGE problem. the well would constantly lose pressure and I would have to go out and fix it and if a storm came and electricity got turned off, it was a pain to get someone to come fix the electricity and finally get me some water.

I also want to let you know, when the winter comes, Please find some way to wrap up your well.

My first winter was hell on me. electricity was at $300-400 a month, not knowing why and on top of that one morning when I got up my water did not come on. it was after a night where they had that windchill advisory. I was pissed being as I had to be at work at 9 and here I am having to go outside in the freezing cold to see why my water isn’t running.

I go outside and to my surprise the pipe is busted and water is running everywhere. I had to go outside and turn off the electricity to the pump to stop it. it cost me I think $100 to replace to pipe to the well.. These are things I did not expect to happen or even ever to have to worry about.
