This part of the process took longer than I would have expected. The loan was already done but they kept giving me a date the home would be on the land and every single time I would get off early from work or call in and the home would not be there or they would make up some new excuse as to why the house was not sent yet.

FINALLY, after about I would say 1 week after closing the house was finally delivered. I could not WAIT! it was delievered then it took about 2 days for them to put it together. it took another lets say 2 weeks for them to put in the septic tank, and drill a well.

After that came the electricity. this took the LONGEST.. only because at the time, the location I was at did not have poles and they had to get some out there to set up the electricity. Most homes now are on land that have easy access to electricity.

Once all this was done which was about 3-5 weeks after closing I was able to move in.

I won’t go into the whole transition from my apartment to the country but lets just say getting a U-haul was pretty pricey. I got the biggest I could get and got everything I could pack in it so I would not have to make two trips.
